The School Day (Times)

Children are welcomed in through the school gates, crossing the playground to their classroom doors to meet their teacher. The register will be taken between 08:45 and 08:55. All children should be in their classroom area within 10 minutes of their start time, having hung up any coats and stored lunch boxes, reading bags etc.

If you are running late…

Registration is completed within 10 minutes of the start of school – by 08:55. You will need to report to the school hall where a member of staff will meet you and sign your child in – please note we will ask for a reason for lateness in order that we can accurately record this in the school register.

If your child can’t come in (Absent)

All absences must be notified to the School Office by 08:40am, please leave a voicemail on the school answerphone. If no contact has been made, the parent/carer will be contacted to ask why their child is not at school, first by text message and if no response is received, by telephone call. If we cannot reach you we may try the other emergency contacts listed for your child. If we do not hear from you your child will be listed as an unauthorised absence and we may make a house call to check all is okay.

At the end of the school day, children are dismissed from their classrooms to their parents / carers through their year group doors into the playground.

Please inform the School Office if you have made arrangements for someone else to meet your child. This message will then be passed to the teaching staff. If the teacher is unaware of your arrangements, your child will remain in school until the parents have been contacted for information.

If you are running late…

Please contact the School Office as soon as possible. Your child may be transferred to After School club and you will be charged for a full session.
